What an emotional rollercoaster. I loved this couple and devoured the pages even when they left me misty-eyed. Patrick's struggle felt real and honest.
Patrick is on the verge of relapsing. His deceased sister's birthday is coming up and the past is weighing on him. He's attending meetings but it's not doing much to help him.
Sunnie is the light to his dark and the one person who can handle all of him. With him keeping his struggle to himself, he's pushed her away a bit.
She loves their life together but also wants to keep moving forward. But Patrick might not be ready for more. All he knows is that without Sunnie he has nothing.
