I've shared this before but here it is finally finished, journaling done. The last two weeks I've journaled more often than I have in the last year. It's been great to get some of those ideas, feelings and crap outta my head.  This is a tip in I added to my journal. It's a page from the Right Brain Planner that I doodled on and added secret messages for myself on the back. I'm off to go do some more journaling. Till tomorrow.   xo Alicia

I'm working on a cowl right now. Because I still haven't gone out to get the yarn I need to finish the cardigan. Ugh... Plus this week/weekend will still be to crazy to over to the yarn store. So I'll just have to crochet whatever quick crochet projects that I have yarn on hand for. Also I totally gave up on the hat I was having issues with last week. I swear I made that thing about four times! The only solution I can think of would be thicker yarn. But that will have to wait. xo Alicia

  I just stitched this journal up the other day. I finished the cover a few weeks ago and recently bound my pages inside. There are still a few other touches I'd like to add to the inside. I also need to add a ribbon closure. This might just be a Christmas gift for one of my Sisters.   A little detail of my binding. I left the extra string in case the Sister wants beads added to the ends. I have a few more journals to bind. So I'll share those soon. Anybody interested in buying one? Let me know. xo Alicia

  Working on this art journal page at the moment. Besides the actual journaling, I feel like there is some thing missing. Maybe I'll step back for a minute to see what comes to me. What are you working on?  xo Alicia

I've debated and wondered if I should even set any for myself this month. Especially since I'm not even sure I actually completed any of those goals. So let's try again. *Read the little pile of books by my bedside.    Yay! This one I've started already. I started reading Under the Dome this past weekend. *De-clutter.     I started sifting through some papers already. Lots more to go. *Finish all the projects I have started.     Some crochet stuff, journals to bind etc. *Get better organized.     There seems to be piles everywhere. *Change sleep pattern.     Some days I go to sleep way too late. Okay, time to get started. xo Alicia

(oops this one came out fuzzy) This class from Kelly Kilmer  has been so much fun! I'm learning techniques I had never thought to use before. Now all I want to do is collage day and night! I haven't actually journaled on my pages just yet but that part always takes a little more time and thought, so it will wait for now. xo Alicia

I'm having so much fun putting my pages, that I want to make another book so I can make more pages. It feels good to have my creative mojo back!     xo Alicia

I signed up for an Art Journaling Workshop with Kelly Kilmer: Swatches Little Paper Books. Here are a few of my finished pages.   I haven't done any actual journaling because I want to concentrate on assembling the pages first.   xo Alicia

 It's coming along and I couldn't be happier. Of course, I wish I could crochet faster. I did change the pattern up a bit. Insteasd of working two rows per color I decided to increase it to four rows. I'm debating if I should increase the rows again. xo Alicia

I love who this baby blanket is turning out. My only issue has been working the green yarn. I had to unravel a few rows because I had skipped stitches. Never crochet when your cross eyed tired! I had gained a lot of progress. Four rows of half double crochets around. I had to unravel. I just wasn't happy with the way it was looking. So I started over just a few hours ago better this post was set to go. I think it's looking better. I plan on keeping my edging as simple as possible. Yay! I'm almost done :) xo Alicia
