She nurses him back to health and he makes a plan to get them off the island. Together they set off for his father's home. And it's just the beginning of all their adventures. This is the last book in the Lords of the Highlands series but it can be read as a stand-alone. This is an action-packed romance from beginning to end. I hated having to put it down. I loved that Divana was so strong and self-sufficient. She didn't need Kennan but she wanted him. Kennan is a classic Highlander who falls for the girl when he least expects it. source These are the books I haven't been able to put down. Now I'm waiting for the first season of True Blood to get here. I know it will be different from the books. I'm looking forward to that aspect. I also read A Discovery of Witches, which I really enjoyed. I can't wait to go pick up the next book. source   And since I'm not reading at the moment I actually picked up my crochet project. Well, there was supposed to be an update here about the progress of my blanket or even the pictures from the last Blythe swap, but I've been unable to get my nose out of books lately. I haven't picked up my crochet even though my fingers itch for the feel of the yarn.  I planned posts but they sit in my blog planner. I can't remember the last time I read this much. I like it, I just don't like that everything else takes a backseat. There will be pictures from the Blythe swap, hopefully tomorrow. xo Alicia

Absolutely nothing is getting done around here. I'm totally engrossed in Catching Fire right now. Ugh... I even skipped exercise because I couldn't tear myself away from the book! Okay gotta go crochet for a bit before I get back to reading. Maybe I"ll see you tomorrow. xo Alicia

This set of books are on my Summer Reading List. The Sookie Stackhouse Novels. I just need to actually sit down and start reading them. I also just received the first book in the Hunger Games series, so now I'm torn. Which do I start reading first? xo Alicia
