Splendeur Caisse

Well, there was supposed to be an update here about the progress of my blanket or even the pictures from the last Blythe swap, but I've been unable to get my nose out of books lately. I haven't picked up my crochet even though my fingers itch for the feel of the yarn.  I planned posts but they sit in my blog planner. I can't remember the last time I read this much. I like it, I just don't like that everything else takes a backseat. There will be pictures from the Blythe swap, hopefully tomorrow. xo Alicia

Ummm....I'm not liking the name Berry so much anymore. So it's back to square one for this little guy. Still working on my journal pages. xo Alicia

I had to go to Target and pick up some household essentials. But I also got to pick up some fun stuff too! Like this awesome set of permanent markers by Bic. It was between these or s set of Sharpies.  The Sharpie set had less markers and cost more. So the Bic set won! And I picked up some Dark Chocolate. It's to hold me over till I can get to Trader Joe's. Can't wait to go shopping again. I'm working on a new art journal project called In the Sun , I'm really liking the prompts and the amazing part is it's free!  I just need to upload the pages I've worked on. xo Alicia

This was Sunday's dinner. Fatburger! Not the healthiest choice but I did have a Boca Burger. Delish! And this is the newest member of the family. She belongs to my sister and they don't live here but there always here! The puppies on about 5 weeks old and super cute. Her coat is super dark! Is almost blends into the carpet. I'll upload a flash picture of her tomorrow :) xo Alicia

source Okay I missed posting yesterday again. I usually prepare my posts the night before but Tuesday was WAY too hectic! My Mom went in for her what was her 5th and hopefully last surgery. Her leg was amputated under the knee. She's in good spirits and can't wait to be releassed from the hospital. I feel blessed that she's still here and staying strong. I'm just happy that she can still hug me. xo Alicia
