  Christmas on Reindeer Road by Debbie Mason My rating: 5 of 5 stars I already liked Mallory and Gabe from the previous book and now I absolutely love them and all their boys. This one really got me in the feels and maybe stuff came out of my eyes. 😢 But really if you're looking for something that gives you the warm and fuzzies and is set at Christmas time pick this one up. Mallory is moving back to Highland Falls with her stepsons after the death of her husband, their father. Knowing first hand what it's like to be abandoned she has no plans to give up on them. Gabriel is raising three boys on his own ever since his wife passed away. The locals are still giving him a hard time, his mother in law is looking for any reason to take the boys away and it's getting harder to fight his attraction to her.   This one definitely put in me the mood for holiday reads. I have two in my TBR pile that I need to pick up and finally read.  Snowed in with the Firefighter by Victoria James My rating: 4 of 5 stars Short and sweet. This is the seventh book in the Shadow Creek, Montana series and can be read as a stand-alone. Dr. Melody Mayberry is heading to her sister's remote mountain cabin to hideout. A tough case at work has her questioning her career choice. And the cabin is the perfect place to recharge. But she wasn't expecting to find her hunky, broody brother in law there as well. Finn Matthews suffered an injury while firefighting and hasn't left the cabin as he tries to figure out what to do next. He doesn't really want the company but gets her to stay.   These are the other ornaments on the tree. I would love to say that we made these but really they're from the Target dollar section. I assume they were popular because of the price and since we only found three of each. So the tree was looking a little bare. While  reading someone's blog (I forgot who, otherwise I'd give them credit), I came across this DIY Yarn Ornament tutorial, I knew it would fit in perfectly with these cuties. I made three over the weekend and finished up a few more the other night.   xo Alicia

Yay! The Christmas tree is up since last Friday. We just need to finish decorating. xo Alicia

 I got to enjoy fresh pomegranate yesterday. I'll probably have some more today. I also found these cuties hanging up when I woke up this morning. I need to get the camera out and take some proper pictures. I've already watched Elf (probably watch it a few more times) and Polar Express, which always has me tearing up at the end. Next on the Christmas movie list Love Actually. Gotta go grab some coffee!   xo Alicia
