Splendeur Caisse

I've followed Little Ink's blog Little Raven Ink  for a while now. When I saw this video I knew I wanted to join in. Give it a try, especially if you think you can't draw!   Here are my first attempts:   I'm making more little creatures before I move onto the next video, where you practice coloring them. Sunday was amazing! My friend and I drove out to Santa Clarita to celebrate another friend's birthday at The Gentle Barn . It's an animal sanctuary. I personally loved the horses, the cows were not my jam, but were cute from a distance.  I can't believe I didn't think to take more photos, especially the horses! Then we drove all the way to the coast to enjoy the ocean breeze. Watching the sail boats. I wish all my Sundays could be this packed with fun! xo Alicia

Last Tuesday my sister turned 14! Time sure is flying by.  My Mom and I took them to Islands to celebrate her birthday!  There's the other sister trying to force a kiss on our younger brother. We had a pretty good time. Lots of laughs and of course good food! The birthday girl just before she enjoyed her Kona pie. And this Friday the littlest brother turns 4! Remember that crochet project I shared last week? Well, I finished it. Which normally is awesome but the vest was a bit of a fail. Why? Too short! Ugh. So now I'm debating if I should go back and make it longer or scrap it. xo Alicia 

Monday was actually not too bad! I went to Disneyland! With my youngest brother and parents. It was his first time visiting! He was so excited. I'm not even sure he had a specific favorite. I think he was just surprised and happy to be there. Disneyland was fun and we're hoping to go again soon. I know I could have taken more photos but it was hard with all the people there for the holiday celebrations and keeping an eye on the little guy. xo Alicia
