This set of books are on my Summer Reading List. The Sookie Stackhouse Novels. I just need to actually sit down and start reading them. I also just received the first book in the Hunger Games series, so now I'm torn. Which do I start reading first? xo Alicia

                                                                             source Has this ever happened to you? I was working on my cottage socks, actually the first one. I was on such a roll too. I was almost done when I realized that I made a mistake all the way at the beginning!!! So I had to take all my work apart. And now I'm back at the beginning. Sigh... These things happen, gotta remember that. Okay back to work for me! It the only thing that helps keep me sane! Too hot to think or do much of anything else. Plus the humidity is not helping! So I'll drink some pink lemonade to cool off.

source via weheartit Whoa the weather here has been so weird! We were supposed to head out to the beach today but it was just too cold! It was overcast and the beaches had high surf advisories. So no going into the water :( I even had to use a heavy blanket last night. I love cooler weather but since it's summer temps in the 80's would be nice. sigh... Off to crochet! So happy the weekend is finally here! Sorry for the absence. I just needed a little me time. Yesterday was the last day of school for my 3 younger siblings, so today I'll have a full house! all images via weheartit Ahhhh.....This is what I'm hoping for this summer. A getaway to the coast! In my imagination we're staying in a seaside cottage. It doesn't have to faraway either. It could be here in my state. Waking up in a sun-filled house, drinking coffee, watching the waves crash on the shore. Night walks along the beach, the star-filled sky, bonfires!
