  Whew... I wasn't sure I would make my reading goal for 2020. I started to feel a little slumpy and my reading speed slowed down. Christmas novellas definitely helped me reach my goal. Honestly, novellas help me every month. They also feel like a palate cleanser between books. And sometimes I just need something quick and steamy. So I read a total of 23 books. 10 ARCs 10 KU- kindle unlimited   2 PB- paperbacks   1 e-book   1 audio I am really missing Audible Escape. Having AE meant I usually read at least four more books a month. I tried Audible Plus free trial but I had a hard time even finding something I wanted to read. So I'll just take a break from audio for a while. Off to read. xo Alicia

  Oh man, I can't believe I forgot to set my blog post for Tuesday!  And why am I getting these double covers? It's so weird. I only read 15 books last month. I had a hard time getting through some of them. Not because I disliked them or anything, I just could read as quick as I normally do. Here's the break down: ARCs: 11 KU: 3 Audible Escape: 2 (I miss it so much) Two of those ARCs were physical paperbacks Off to finish my latest ARC! xo Alicia

  I read a total of 28 books this month and that's only because the last five or so were steamy novellas. I was craving short and steamy reads. These are also by authors I love and enjoy their writing, so I know I'm getting a read I'll love. So here's the breakdown of what I read: 10 ARCs 3 Paperbacks which were also ARCs 5 Audible Escape (the Winston Bros. series) 10 Kindle Unlimited 2 Kindle purchases 2 Free ebooks Ugh... not loving that Audible Escape is no longer available. I decided to give Audible Plus a try but so far I'm not loving it. Almost everything I had in my library qued to read disappeared and all the books I saved to my wishlist are not eligible for the subscription I have. AND there is no romance category in the browse tab. Frustrating to say the least. I'm hoping improvements will be made otherwise I might just cancel my subscription. xo Alicia

Wow! It really felt like this month flew by, even though we're still stuck in quarantine.
