This one is part of the Capricorn Cove series. Collins and Nicholas have been married for almost ten years but living apart. Now Collins wants a baby, so she goes to Nicholas to ask for IVF or give her a divorce. Nicolas has another idea, her and him and a bed. And he has no plans to let her go again. If you want something a little naughty this one might be for you.  Two couples who are best friends and have been inseparable until Bonnie and Logan move away to New York.  Ava and Max are flying into Manhattan to spend Christmas with their friends.  They used to joke that they'd all end up in bed together and now the fantasy is set to become reality. Home for the Holidays by Lucy Darling My rating: 5 of 5 stars Fun quick read So good! It was hard to put down. Ugh... I loved Logan so much. One look at her and he's a goner. Review: The Player's Game by Alice Gaines

The Player's Game by Alice Gaines My rating: 4 of 5 stars A steamy second chance romance. NFL quarterback Grant Howard is out-of-town at his best friends wedding. On his way up to his room, he runs into his ex-wife Katy. The guy she's with is getting a little too handsy and he can't help but say something. Next thing they know they are both standing there dateless. Now Katy's at his door, he ruined her evening plans for her 30th birthday so it's only fair that he make it up to her. The steam is there from the get-go. This couple doesn't doubt their physical chemistry. They had other issues that put stress on their marriage. So they both jump at the chance to have some fun for the night. Of course, it's not that simple. And now they have to spend some time together because of outside forces. What I Read March 2020

Image
I did not read as many books as I usually do. I was sure that with the self-quarantine order keeping us inside, I would read more but that didn't happen. I had a hard time concentrating. And since I quit smoking a few years ago, I now find myself dealing with anxiety. But I'm managing it with breathing exercises, yoga and meditation. I only read a total of 16 books 6 ARCs 3 Kindle Unlimited 3 novellas from the Read Me Romance podcast 4 Audible Escape For some reason, one of the books I read did not appear in the widget and another appears twice. xo Alicia
