All Scot and Bothered by Kerrigan Byrne

Image
All Scot and Bothered by Kerrigan Byrne My rating: 5 of 5 stars So good! Kerrigan Byrne draws you in and makes it impossible to put down. I love the Red Rogues and how they have each other's backs. Cecelia was strong and resilient despite her initial upbringing. Cassius was so grumpy I wondered when I was going to like him and lucky that finally changed. I did not want this one to end. I'm already looking forward to the next book in this series. Cecelia Teague was plucked from an abusive home by a secret benefactor and sent to respected boarding schools and even university. Out of nowhere, she inherits a gambling house, frequented by some of London's more powerful people. Lord Chief Justice of the High Court: Cassius Gerard Ramsay is captivated by Cecelia. His past has made him unwilling to give in to any of life's pleasures but Cecelia might be the one to change that. Follow Me Darkly by Helen Hardt

Release Date: September 29 I’ve always been a control freak. But he makes me crave submission… Working for a hotel heiress and social media influencer may not be my dream job, but at least it allows me time to do what I really love—take photographs. Pretty good for a wholesome farm girl from Kansas trying to make it in Boston. Life may not be easy working for a diva, but at least I know what to expect. Until blue-collar billionaire Braden Black strides into the office. He’s beyond handsome and sexy, but also domineering with a definite hard edge. I’m not sure why he’s interested in me, but within a few weeks, he’s showing me a world I never knew existed. He’s opened up a side of me I can only face in the dark, and it’s quickly becoming an obsession. How can I give up something this addictive—even if his secrets could ultimately destroy me? The Duplicate Bride by Ginny Baird

Image
The Duplicate Bride by Ginny Baird My rating: 4 of 5 stars I enjoyed this one. I initially thought this was going to be a little more on the funny side but it was a little more emotional. These two characters are slowly falling in love but they also have this deception between them. And you wonder how these two can make it work. Hope Webb's twin sister Jackie, asks her to switch places for the pre-wedding festivities. Immediately she refuses. There's no way they can pull it off now as adults. The plan is she'll go ahead and make apologies for Jackie but when Brent's grandmother makes a comment that bugs her, and he can't tell she's not Jackie, she makes the decision to pose as Jackie. Besides, It's only for a day. Brent Albright notices the change in his fiancee but is enjoying this different side of her. After their initial doubts his family is finally starting to like her and so is he. So he starts to woo her for real this time., hoping for more tha

Highland Renegade by Cynthia Breeding Publication Date: September 21, 2020 Entangled Amara Series: Children of the Mist, Book One Genre: Historical Romance Emily, the Dowager Countess of Woodhaven, has received title to lands in the Highlands—MacGregor lands—and after surviving an abusive marriage, she’s determined to make a new start...without a man. She just has to win over the handsome Scottish laird whose family has lived there for centuries. How hard could it be? When Ian MacGregor heard that the Sassenach countess was actually laying claim to his lands, he figured to scare the aging widow away by showing her the hardships of living in the Highlands. She’d leave before the first snowflake fell. But he never imagined that the widow was young and beautiful and more territorial than a she-wolf. No matter, he’ll prove that a fragile, London woman like her would never survive life without her servants…and if he happens to give her the coldest and most remote rooms, all the

Burning Ash by N.J. Walters

Image
Burning Ash by N.J. Walters My rating: 5 of 5 stars Wow! This latest instalment of the Forgotten Brotherhood does not disappoint! I love the mythology woven into this story and the appearance some of these figures is fun and exciting. Plus we get check-ins from Maccus and Morrigan, to name a few. The story moves fast and is very entertaining. And the steam is of so good. This time around we meet Asher. One of the oldest living vampires created by an Egyptian goddess after his family was killed by vampires. Since then it's been his job to hunt and kill rogue vampires. His name strikes fear among vampires thought to be only a myth to keep young vamps in line. Jo Radcliff is a vampire hunter. Asher finds himself very much attracted to her. She's smart, gorgeous and talented. She reluctantly agrees to work with him in order to figure out who sent them anonymous emails but now someone is trying to kill Jo. Using the Brotherhood to go after her and counting on Asher to protect

Release Date: September 17 Don't fall for your enemy ...especially when he's your new roommate. Dean Evans is the worst. Not only does the devil in disguise steal my pie on a regular basis, he also lives in the apartment right. Next. Door. I see him all the time. At the mailboxes. In the elevator. Every single morning. It's exhausting because he's exhausting. Now, after setting his apartment on fire, he's my roommate...and he's the worst at that too. I don't know what possessed me to let him stay with me. Pity, perhaps? I do know that I won't be falling for his charm. Or that panty-dropping smirk. His quick wit. That body he works so hard for. Nope. Not falling for any of it...least of all him. There might be a fine line between love and hate, but I know exactly where I stand. Buy Links: Will send when live Meet Teagan Hunter I'm a Missouri-raised gal, but
