Today we are sharing the cover reveal for Arrogant Bastard by Jennifer Dawson. Arrogant Bastard is the second standalone novel in the Bastard series and will be available May 5, 2020. You won't want to miss the sizzling chemistry and banter between Cat and Caden. Check out the cover, excerpt and giveaway then pre-order your copy! Arrogant Bastard I’m Cat McKay, and I’m in desperate need of a man. My farm manager deserted me six weeks before our grand opening that will help put my family’s business on the map. Now I need to find a replacement because I’m not about to be the reason we fail. Unfortunately, Caden Landry— whose arrogance, evasions and good looks rub me the wrong way—is my only option on a list of zero candidates. So, as much as it pains me to admit it, I need him to step in and save the day. Yeah, I hate it too. I’m Caden Landry, and I have a self-destructive streak a mile wide. One thing is clear, I need to stay the hell away from my new boss, Cat McKay. Not an eas

Review: The Mail Order Bride's Secret by Linda Broday

Image
source When three young children show up on outlaw Tait Trinity's doorstep, he knows he can't help them—a wanted man has no business raising kids. And yet he can't bring himself to turn them away. At a loss, he sends for the mail-order bride he'd been writing to, hoping the demure dressmaker will be the answer to his prayers. Melanie Dunbar is nothing like the bride Tait was expecting. She's rough and tumble...and hiding an ulterior motive. Dangerous men have taken her sister hostage, and if Melanie wants to see her alive, she'll have to betray her new husband. There's only one problem—the more time she spends with Tait, the more she comes to care for him. Yet as the noose begins to tighten, Melanie will have to make a terrible choice: save her sister...or the man she loves. This book was action-packed. From the opening scene all the way till the very end. An outlaw and a mail-order bride made it hard to resist this book after reading the description.

Review:The Sinful Scot by Maddison Michaels

Image
source The Sinful Scot by Maddison Michaels My rating: 4 of 5 stars Such a twisty read! I knew deep down that there would be a HEA, but there were scenes that left me doubting that. Like after her first panic attack. I wondered if she could ever really let herself be close to anyone ever again. Another scene close to the end also has me close to tears. But they finally got their HEA! Constance Campbell, the Duchess of Kilmaine wakes up covered in the blood of her abusive dead husband. She's being framed for his murder and has to go n the run in order to clear her name. Dr. Alec McGuiness is reluctantly checking up on the only woman who ever got under his skin. When he hears about the Duke's murder he knows he must protect Connie at all costs. Now on the run, Connie finds herself unexpectedly attracted to the man who is keeping her safe. And Alec fighting his attraction every step of the way. View all my reviews

Review: About An Earl by Diana Lloyd

Image
source About an Earl by Diana Lloyd My rating: 4 of 5 stars I could not put this down! I just needed to know what was gonna happen. Despite the ball going on around her, Jewel has set out to warn Lord Winchcombe about her cousin's marriage trap. When she first sees the handsome lord, her heart beat's faster. Oliver finds himself intrigued by Jewel and she sets his heart racing When they are caught kissing her uncle sends her away to Scotland. Oliver comes to her rescue and offers his hand in marriage. Of course, it's not so simple and straight forward. Jewel is hiding from her uncle. Oliver is being accused of mental illness. And they have to figure out who benefits from his ruin. These are two people who have been hurt in the past and must work to put their pasts behind them in order to move forward. This was my first read from this author and I really found myself enjoying it. I'm looking forward to whatever else this author puts out. This ARC provided by the p

Review: The Best Man Problem by Mariah Ankenman

Image
source This gem is coming out next week on the 20th. The Best Man Problem by Mariah Ankenman My rating: 4 of 5 stars The Blurb: Lilly Walsh is used to keeping things buttoned-up and aboveboard. After all, the last time she hooked up with someone in a wedding party, it nearly cost her her wedding planning business. Thankfully, those rules don’t apply when she meets a handsome stranger in a hotel bar. One bad pirate joke leads to the best night of her life, but come morning, she’s got a wedding to plan. Lincoln Reid never imagined he’d see the woman who rocked his world last night and then ran out on him ever again. But there she is, planning his best friend’s wedding with the same passion and drive that brought him to his knees. She’s adamant that wedding planner and best man can never mix, but that just means he’s got four weeks to make her see him as more than just a one-night guy. Because he’s itching for more than one night...or five, or ten… My review: This was such a cute
