After working my way through a few ARCs, I needed a little bit of a palate cleanser. I had heard this novella, Securing Brenae, from this author on the Read Me Romance podcast. You can still listen to it on the podcast. I grabbed the first book in the Mountain Mercenaries series and couldn't stop myself from devouring the whole series over the last seven days or so.
