No-Bake Cheesecake! Yum!

Image
This what I actually made for the 4th of July. No-bake cheesecake topped with strawberries and blueberries. Very yummy! I got the idea from Craft blog via Madigan Made. But I didn't have shot glasses on hand so this was the next best thing for me. Very pretty looking and definitely delicious. xo Alicia

Oh-Oh Fail

Image
Sunday was a nice day for me. I spent it all by myself and avoided the phone as much as possible. Than I thought it would be great to do some baking. I grabbed a box of yellow cake, added cinnamon, walnuts and a handful of chocolate chips. It was yummy! But here's the fail I thought it had cooled enough. But obviously it needed more time. I'll have to try and be patient next time. :) xo Alicia

It was Chilly!

Image
It was raining and chilly on Sunday. I figured it would be a good idea to fire up the oven. I wanted easy to prep yet delicious. This is what I came up with. I opened a tube of crescent rolls and folded chocolate chips in as I rolled the dough up. So simple and yummy! Next time I think I'll sprinkle cinnamon on the dough.  :) xo Alicia

The Weekend Was Good....

Image
It started Friday afternoon. I had a mini lunch date with my Mom and baby brother. We had breakfast for lunch, which I think is always yummy! source This is what my meal looked like. I was just too excited that I forgot to snap a picture of my actual meal. :( Especially because I had my new phone in my pocket. Saturday I got these lovelies from Avon Love 'em! I worked on this new project I can't even tell you how many projects before this one I started and took apart. Sometimes if the pattern is too simple and tedious, I'll find myself getting bored. But this pattern varies every row. I organized my starred items in my google reader by pinning them to my Pinterest boards. Feels great to have that stuff I was saving for some reason or other to now be divided into manageable groups. Now I just wanna settle in with my crochet, coffee and finally get to The Walking Dead season premiere, Boardwalk Empire and Dexter episodes waiting f...

Blythes, Puppies and Baking, Oh My!

Image
Coco's totally getting into the Halloween mood. She's thinking about costumes. This cute little guy is Smoky, he stopped by for a quick visit. He's super sweet and adorable. I wish I could keep him! I found a yummy recipe on Pinterest. So easy: 1 box of yellow cake mix 1 can  pumpkin Blend together Bake @ 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. The bread came out super moist and very delish. I already went out and bought supplies to bake more yummy goodness! All in all it was a nice weekend. xo Alicia

Iced Chai!

Image
That's what I've been enjoying lately. When I saw that container at the store I had to have it. I realized it's been awhile since I last enjoyed an Iced Chai. I gotta go get some more, I'm almost out! You should go pick some up too! It's really tasty :) xo Alicia

Late Night Baking

Image
Last Wednesday, I got the urge to bake. But it's been warm so I decided to do some late night baking. Seriously, it was 2 in the morning when I started. My sister sent me an email from Pilsbury for Chocolate Chip- Peanut Butter Squares. Click the link for the recipe. Very easy to make and delicious! YUM! I might just have to make this my summer tradition for baking because I just don't like baking  when it's super hot outside. xo Alicia
