Total number of books I read last month: 29 books I read 8 ARCs, 17 on kindle unlimited and 4 ebooks, that were free or I purchased.

  Whew... I wasn't sure I would make my reading goal for 2020. I started to feel a little slumpy and my reading speed slowed down. Christmas novellas definitely helped me reach my goal. Honestly, novellas help me every month. They also feel like a palate cleanser between books. And sometimes I just need something quick and steamy. So I read a total of 23 books. 10 ARCs 10 KU- kindle unlimited   2 PB- paperbacks   1 e-book   1 audio I am really missing Audible Escape. Having AE meant I usually read at least four more books a month. I tried Audible Plus free trial but I had a hard time even finding something I wanted to read. So I'll just take a break from audio for a while. Off to read. xo Alicia

  Oh man, I can't believe I forgot to set my blog post for Tuesday!  And why am I getting these double covers? It's so weird. I only read 15 books last month. I had a hard time getting through some of them. Not because I disliked them or anything, I just could read as quick as I normally do. I did not read as many books as I usually do. I was sure that with the self-quarantine order keeping us inside, I would read more but that didn't happen. I had a hard time concentrating. And since I quit smoking a few years ago, I now find myself dealing with anxiety. But I'm managing it with breathing exercises, yoga and meditation. I only read a total of 16 books 6 ARCs 3 Kindle Unlimited 3 novellas from the Read Me Romance podcast 4 Audible Escape For some reason, one of the books I read did not appear in the widget and another appears twice. xo Alicia
