BLURB:

Is it an accidental pregnancy, if it’s purposefully planned?

Autumn Kulis wants a baby. It’s that simple and that complicated because one thing stands in her way - she doesn’t have a man in her life. And at almost forty, she isn’t getting any younger. On a two-week trip to her brother’s lakeside cottage, a plan forms. Make a list of three men. Sleep with each of them. Allow nature to take its course. Only, a certain someone gets in her way.

Logan Anders goes with the flow of life. Divorced, single dad, he works hard, and occasionally plays harder. When his college roommate invites him to Lakeside Cottage for two weeks, he hadn’t remembered his best friend’s little sister being so hot. Nor was he a fan of her plan to find a baby daddy. He’s determined to make her list then tear it to shreds leaving him the only man horizontal with her.

When we were forty, we had so much life to live, and a simple proposition could be the start of a second chance at really living.

My Review

Living at 40 by L.B. Dunbar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–šŸ’–
I loved this so much. Maybe cause I'm in this ahem age range. Of course, there was plenty of angst. The beginning of this new relationship was not easy even though it was fun. They each had these underlying feelings that they were not communicating and it was satisfying when they finally get it together. I felt that disappointment Autumn was going through. When her brother finally tells everyone why he invited them all, I was a mess. The end also had me tearing up but I'm looking forward to the next books in the series

Autumn Kulis wants a baby. Plain and simple but she doesn't have a man in her life. At 36, she knows she's not getting any younger. Her sister-in-law encourages her to go with the Big Chill plan. Make a list of three men. Sleep with each one and let nature take its course. All this while they wait at her brother's lakeside cottage for his three college friends to arrive for a two-week visit.

Logan Anders, divorced, single, and hard-working dad is looking forward to spending time with his friends and daughter. What is doesn't expect? His best friend's little sister being so hot. When Autumn's sister-in-law tells them her baby plans, Logan is determined to make the list. And be the only one on the list.
