Review: Gone With the Rogue by Amelia Grey
source
Gone With the Rogue by Amelia Grey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lady Kitson finds herself up a tree clutching the onto its limbs waiting for her son's governess to return and her down. Garrett Stockton is taking a ride through the park altering his usual routine after being at sea.
They have an almost immediate attraction but Julia has to deal with, the Duke, her father-in-law's ideas of staying/being a proper widow otherwise he'll take her son away.
Julia is looking for evidence that the Duke isn't as pious as he appears to be. Garrett wants to gain her trust and to help her get out from under the Duke's thumb.
Julia and Garrett are likeable and I was rooting for them from the start.
The Duke turns out to be quite a despicable character. You'll see why towards the end.
