What a treat to be back n Green Valley. I really enjoyed Jackson and Rae's story. And of course, it's fun to see glimpses of characters from the Winston brother's series and I knew that this book would not disappoint.
Years ago, Jackson and Raquel, met at Sienna and Jethro's wedding and spent an incredible evening together getting to know each other. Raquel was looking for a spontaneous fling and Jackson was looking for something deeper. But the more time they spent together, the more Raquel is willing to change her usual rules
Now She's back in town to escape. She's tired of pretending. And the last time she felt seen was the evening she spent with Jackson James. And Jackson, well he's been secretly pining for her all this time.
But they do have a few obstacles to get through. She's in a fake relationship with a man who cheated on her when they were really dating. He's dating a single mom who's been a friend for a long time.
After they share a passionate good-bye kiss, scandal hits, and they must work together to save their reputations.
