The Fine Print by Lauren Asher is now live!

Rowan
I'm in the business of creating fairy tales.
Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels.
Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland.
My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her.
Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias.
By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don't get happy endings.
Not when we're destined to ruin them.

Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride, I should have been fired.
Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job.
The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I'd ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn't care.
At least not until I discovered his secret.
It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn't fix everything.
Especially not us.

My Review

The Fine Print by Lauren Asher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Okay, the first part of this book was not easy for me to get through. But that was a me problem. I couldn't concentrate. Once we got to the juicier parts I was finally able to break out of my funk. I loved the friendship Rowan established with Zahra's sister, it definitely endeared this grump to me. Worth a read and a good start to this new series.

Rowan is tasked by his late grandfather to become the director of Dreamland and bring back the magic. At one of his first meetings, he meets Zahra, who he can't look away from, arrives late, and dares to call him out on his rudeness.

When he puts a call out to all employees, to submit ideas, Zahra accidentally sends her proposal criticizing a Dreamland ride she has negative feelings about.

When she's called into Rowan's office, she's positive she's about to be fired but is instead offered a creator position. And it goes from there.
