Steamy age gap. Even though our main characters fall in love pretty quickly, this book delivers a solid romance from two people who have lived through heavy experiences and all in 190 pages.
Travis Ryker moved to California to put the past behind him. He does his job as a firefighter and rides his horse. That's all. He doesn't even spend time with his fellow firefighters outside of work.
Until he meets Lark. She's too young for him, too broken. But he can't let her go.
Even though he should stay away.
