SYNOPSIS

Joshua Sinclair, the Horseman of War, set off having lost his interest in warring. Nothing can make him take up arms again. Except for a beautiful woman.

Kara Flett, current chief of her clan, has plans to seduce the Highlander and all her tactics leave him unmoved. Until the enemy directly threatens her. He finds that he must protect the woman he has come to love.

I loved Kara and Joshua's story. They had great chemistry from the moment they met. And we get some steamy scenes from them pretty early in the book.
There is plenty of action too. Fight scenes, even one done in the nude. Which when you stop and think about is pretty wild.
I loved being back in Scotland with the Sinclairs who we briefly get a scene with towards the end.
