Splendeur Caisse

I got this box of yarn last Wednesday.  I wanted to just dive in and start  new projects. But I stopped myself. Cause their are two other projects I need to finish first. Like the scarf I started last week. Thanksgiving was good. I spent the whole day with my family. Sunday night a friend and I drove up to this spot for some girl talk and coffee. When I got home Sunday I finished this project! I took it apart twice! This weekend because it was too small, then too big! Finally got it right! Now to finish the scarf! xo Alicia

I love stopping at Target with my brother, the minute he sees the holiday section, he draws in a breathe of excitement and yells "Christmas!" This is the new infinity scarf I'm working on. I'm using a pattern I found in this book  here . I'm really like how the pattern is working out. The stitches are close, so this will be an extra cozy scarf. I actually started out making this source But I wasn't liking the look of the pattern. I know it had a lot to do with the yarn I was using  but I'm trying to use my yarn stash as musch as possible. I'm off to start my Thanksgiving preparations! xo Alicia

-my Family -my Mom's recovery -my besties -talks with my Sister -snuggling with Elijah -the roof over my head -solid sleep -fall weather -all things others create that inspire me (art, blogs, photography etc.) -alone time -being able to create (cook, crochet, journal)   

My weekend started with a tasty Vanilla Soy Latte after some shopping at Target. Then I spent some time prepping these lovely ladies. I finally updated the shop ! And of course, while I was updating the shop I enjoyed a cup of coffee with whip cream:) xo Alicia

This past weekend, I spent nearly every spare moment crocheting! Remember this project I finished it about two weeks ago And I started another one in a different type of yarn. I'll share pictures of that later. I had to stop working on it because I need more yarn. So, I made this hat. I also made another in a lavender color but I took it apart. When I finished working the pattern I realzed I had made it using the wrong size hook. Moday I went to lunch with this guy, my sister and Mother. He didn't want his picture taken. He told me, "Don't take my picture!" And when I snapped another he said, "That's enough." I was too hungry to remember to take a picture of my burger. I did manage to capture the yummy desert we all shared. Okay, I'm off to crochet some more! xo Alicia
