Oops I can't believe I forgot to post yesterday! Totally slipped my mind and then I got busy with the daily stuff. Once the evening hit though I got to take some supplies out and play in my art journal. At least laying the ground work for future pages. Which is always helpful when I just need to get something down.  These are the latest journal pages. Where I wrote down message that I got from this: Notes from the Universe . Inspirational reminders that sometimes are in total sync with something I'm living.  And I kept these pages simple because I knew I would be writing these notes here. So happy I got to glue some things down. Now to get the motivation to finish that Christmas gift I'm working on. Happy Thursday! I need some eggnog! xo Alicia

These are two of my most recent art journal pages. Lucky for me these pages had been put together way before I added the journaling.  Especially since I have not had motivation to do any of the activities I enjoy. I have a crochet project that needs to be finished before Christmas and I have to time just not the motivation. Maybe I should try scheduling it into my day, like my workout time. I'm off to glue some stuff down into art journal and see what I create. xo Alicia

 I love that as it gets darker earlier I can finally take part in my personal ritual of lighting candles. The votive from above is from my coffee shop days. I took them home when the owner sold the business.  So this some thing so simple to spruce up those clear glass jars. Original I had the black and white tape around another candle. When that one was finished I took my tape back and wanted to reuse it a festive way. So I torn into pieces and made a simple snowflake. Just four pieces of tape. First I made an X , then added one vertically and horizontally. I love the intercepting pattern in the center as well. I'm sure I've seen other tutorials that use washi tape but I don't think I've seen this before. Correct me if I'm wrong please, so I can credit. If you decide to give this a try, please share your pictures! I'd love to see them. xo Alicia

This month's inspiration board. Love it. But I also want to take some of these images down, so I can use them in my art journal. Hmm... okay now for the goals. Put up the Christmas tree! I feel like I'm late on this one already. Enjoy this Holiday season as much as possible. I feel like the season flew by last year. Which totally took the joy out of it for me.  Catch a few Holiday movies. White Christmas, Elf, Love Actually, etc...  I've already watched The Santa Clause this weekend. Listen to Holiday/Christmas music before bed, so I can have sweet dreams. :) Reflect on the past year as I work through Unraveling the Year Ahead  2014 from Susannah Conway. I'm really looking forward to this.  I also plan to continue the destash in progress.   There are more clothes to sort through and box up to giveaway. There are still books to list for resell on Amazon.  The list could go on but I'll leave it there. From last months goals:  I'm al
